About

This blog is about the life long practice of the Taoist Arts.  It’s purpose is share ideas with the world about martial arts forms, meditative practices, and the pragmatic elements of the arts.  There are a few static pages that help provide a background to the specific focus of the blog posts.

Dedication is an expression of gratitude towards my teachers.
The Form is a few thoughts about the forms we practice in martial arts.
The Practitioner is a brief background of the website author.
Lifelong Practice is the static front page and meant as an introduction.
Emanations of the Tao is the blog page showing recent posts and archives.
Intention is a reflection on the intent of this website and connects with other media.
Martial Arts is a page discussing the path of martial arts and usefulness in our lives.

These pages may be found in the menus at the top of the website.  If you have any thoughts you want to share on the Taoist or martial arts, feel free to do so.  Posts without comments are monologues at best.  Interaction breaths life into ideas.   I reply to comments when I can, even if a day or two later.  I’ll accept most comments except those that are disrespectful.  Just like any conversations, varying perspectives add energy even when negative.  Constructive disagreement is welcome.  However, hate speech, abuse or repeated hostility is not.

I encourage those who like the ideas herein to reblog. Link to pages you like from your own websites.  This helps both our websites building connectivity and adding to our content.   Connectivity and content is not only two of the three pillars of search engine optimization, they also help build the community of our ideas.
